Service - Cecelia Svinth Carpenter founded and operates this
Native American research and consulting service. She is a much respected
author and Northwest Indian historian. Read selected articles and purchase

Nisqally Indian History of Mount Rainier.
Harvey Manning - Sadly, Harvey passed away on November 12, 2006. He was a
well-known author and wilderness advocate and will be greatly missed. He
co-authored many books in The Mountaineers' 100 Hikes™ Series, including

Washington's National Park Fund - Their mission is to preserve and restore Mount
Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks by offering financial support.
Northwest Interpretive Association - Their work assists Northwest National Parks
by providing interpretive materials. Their online store is an excellent source
for maps, books on natural and cultural history, trail guides, DVDs, memorabilia
and other park materials.
Washington Trails Association - WTA is a volunteer-driven non-profit that works
