Meaningful Movies

The good folks at Meaningful Movies in Seattle are sponsoring a special screening on Friday, May 24 at 7 PM. It's being shown at the Keystone Congregational United Church of Christ, 5019 Keystone Place N, in the Wallingford District. Admission is free and open to the public. A spokesperson from the Wild Olympics Campaign will be there to share information and lead a discussion about the WOC.

The Rose...

Wow! The Rose Theatre in Port Townsend is a real class act! Everything about it...the ambiance, the decor, the staff...top notch stuff. Our recent screening there was state of the art...with excellent sound and stunning color. So, thank you Rose Theatre! And, a very special thanks to all the sponsors for their hard work promoting it on behalf of the Wild Olympics Campaign. And, again as always thanks to our wonderful cast and crew...we love you guys. And finally a big thanks to all the folks who packed the house, and signed the petition for the Wild Olympics. It was a great success. And, very sorry to those who were turned away when the show got sold out, but we're looking into doing another show there in the very near future, so I hope you come back. Trust us...it's definitely worth it!

Out of the Mist in Theaters Now...

Just kidding...but still it was really cool seeing Mist up on the theater marquee. We had great turnout for the Olympic Mountain Rescue fundraiser in Bremerton the other night. We want to give a big thanks to all those involved who helped make it a success. Our next special screening will be at the historic Rose Theatre in Port Townsend, WA on April 28. Benefit Show for Olympic Mountain Rescue

The Kitsap Sun and Olympic Mountain Rescue are co-sponsoring a second screening of Out of the Mist in Bremerton. This time at the Admiral Theatre, 515 Pacific Ave on Thurs, Apr 4 at 7 PM (doors open at 6 PM). It will be full evening of film, starting with Mountains Don't Care, followed by Out of the Mist. Tickets are just $12 ... for the benefit of Olympic Mountain Rescue. Famed outdoor author and Kitsap Sun columnist Seabury Blair will be there to introduce the program; Crest Pictures and the cast of Mist will also be on hand. Show your support of OMR and their valuable volunteer work by attending. We want to fill the theater for this great cause!

Standing Room Only Crowds!

We've been screening Mist to standing room only crowds ever since the premiere in Dec. DVD sales are brisk too. Admittedly we're pretty overwhelmed by how much folks have embraced the film. We sincerely believe it's all about their own personal connection to the beautiful and magical Olympics...and their deep understanding and appreciation for the intrinsic value of the Olympics. One young guy told Robert that it made him weep...with joy. We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the past few months by sponsoring our shows...and especially our inspiring storytellers...Dave, Harvest, Dane and Tim...without whom there wouldn't be an Out of the Mist. We love you guys! Our next screenings are at the end of March. The venues rock and both are benefits for two worthy causes...the Olympic Mountain Rescue at the Admiral Theater in Bremerton, and the Wild Olympics Campaign at the eclectic Rose Theater in Port Townsend. Premiere Night Big Success!

WOW! We had a huge turnout last night at the Mist premiere. When we showed up at 6:30 the theater was already overflowing and they had to start turning people away. But the good folks at Huxley College grabbed another screener from us and quickly opened up another hall for a simultaneous screening so they wouldn't have to go home disappointed. All in all there were 400 people attending. Pretty overwhelming for us to see so many people there and have such a great response to the film. It was the perfect place to premiere ... these folks are passionate about their Olympics. Thanks to everyone involved!

The DVD has arrived and is now available online in our store. If you prefer to purchase by mail find the instructions there and follow them closely. They can also be purchased at any of our upcoming screenings where you will save with no S & H. And soon to be in shops around the Olympic Peninsula.

Out of the Mist Premiere

NOVEMBER 5, 2012

Out of the Mist will be premiering on December 6, in Port Angeles at the Little Theater on the Peninsula College campus. Friends of Olympic National Park and Western Washington University’s Huxley College of the Environment are co-sponsoring the event. After the screening there will be a meet and greet reception with Crest Pictures and the cast. DVDs will be available for purchase.

There will be a follow up screening sponsored by the Peninsula Wilderness Club on December 10 in Bremerton. The public is welcome. DVDs will be available for purchase.
